APIMS Training Events
 
Event Description: The APIMS PMO will be conducting an APIMS Beginner/Refresher classroom training event. This 3-day course will be held at the Northrop Grumman training facility in Clearfield, Utah. The course will cover all basic system functions pertaining to the tracking of emission sources and generation of air emissions inventories. Students will become comfortable navigating the new look and feel of APIMS as hosted at DISA and be provided a hands-on experience in using the software.

There is no cost to users to attend the course other than the funding of their own travel arrangements. If locating funding for travel is a problem, please note that some students have had success in the past working with AFIT to fund their travel costs. If you would like to explore this option, please contact the help desk for more information.

The registration deadline for the course is February 21st or upon reaching seating capacity. Please contact the APIMS Help Desk @ 800-274-4406 or by sending an email to apims@ngc.com for registration approval no later than the registration deadline.

Please note, due to anticipated high demand for this training event, acceptance to the course will be based on the following priorities:

Priority 1 - Federal employees

Priority 2 - Contractors who support specific facilities and are recommended by the facility government POC (e.g., base Air Program Manager) to attend the course

Priority 3 - Other contractors

APIMS 6.0 Webinar Events
 
Event Description: These training sessions will be approximately one hour in duration and are a series of webinars that will be offered approximately twice per quarter. Webinars are not intended to replace the in- person hands-on beginner/refresher courses that are offered quarterly. Rather, they are intended to incrementally provide APIMS users and stakeholders with a more comprehensive understanding of the capabilities of APIMS. These webinars are free of charge to participants.

Please note that these Webinars will be recorded for subsequent on- demand playback by interested parties who are not able to attend in person. The URL to the recording will be distributed at the end of the live session. In order to maximize quality of the audio portion of the call, please ensure that your phone is muted when not actively engaging the instructor with a question.
