Managing risks of exposure to environmental, safety and occupational factors is a major concern for organizations, where employees handle chemicals, are exposed to hazardous conditions and require training in safe handling of materials and processing procedures. As an organization, you are accountable for the materials used, the amount of emissions you put into the environment and the waste that's generated and disposed. The cost of compliance with laws and regulations designed to protect workers and the environment, and the associated risk factors can be exorbitant.
Northrop Grumman's Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Program helps organizations manage risks and costs associated with environmental, health and safety issues.
The ESOH Program consists of the following systems:
- Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) System: An integrated, web-based system that helps organizations manage risks and costs associated with environmental, health and safety issues.
- Defense Occupational Environmental, Health and Readiness System (DOEHRS): A web-based system that enables the tracking and documenting of environmental exposure and medical records of military personnel, from service entry through retirement and long-term care.
- Command Core System (CCS): The original client/server version of the ESOH System.
- Air Program Information Management System (APIMS): A module of CCS, APIMS is used to maintain daily air quality program data, perform air emission inventory calculations and manage compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
